The Strictly Come Dancing rumour mill has started again, as they start to tease through details of the 2019 ballroom dancing show. Last year saw TV Documenter Stacey Dooley and her dance partner Kevin Clifton crowned champions of the 2018 season. Off camera a romance blossomed between the two as they later revealed they had become a couple.
Once again we can’t wait to hear the verbal excitement from the 4 judges, 3 of whom are the usual judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli. For our first Strictly Come Dancing spoiler – this year sees a replacement for the glamorous Darcey Bussell. In her place will be 38 year old, Motsi Mabuse, sister of Oti Mabuse, who we last saw on British TV programme, The Greatest Dancer.
Motsi is said to be “absolutely overjoyed” to be joining the judging lineup when the show launches later in the year. “I have so much respect and admiration for the other three judges and hope to add my own bit of sparkle to the show. I can’t wait to get started!” – Motsi said on her Instagram. “Exciting times ahead and I can’t wait to meet all of @bbcstrictly team.”

Her sister has also welcomed her on her Twitter feed, with a more elated “Yayyyy!!! Da da da dadada daaaaa – da dada da da” which we think is something along the lines of that very familiar Strictly Come dancing theme tune! Motsi will actually be judging her sister Oti who is one of the dance partners on the show. “That might be my sister, but I’m going to judge her exactly the same!”.
One more newcomer announced to the show, is brand new professional dancer, Nancy Xu. She will join the dancing team, made up of some of the finest dancers on TV, AJ Pritchard, Oti Mabuse, Kevin Clifton, Aljaz Skorjanec, Anton Du Beke etc.
