Reece Shearsmith plays a murderer on The Widower Part Two, tonight on ITV. Sheridon Smith, who grew up in Epworth, plays the role of Claire, the first wife of convicted murderer Malcolm Webster. The drama is a factual interpretation of murder case stretching over 13 years.

The three-part drama is based on the crimes of convicted murderer Malcolm Webster.
Last week’s first part starred Sheridan Smith as Claire Morris, who was murdered by her husband Webster, played by Reece Shearsmith, in Aberdeenshire.
In tonight’s episode, after moving to Auckland in New Zealand, Webster gets married again to Felicity Drumm, planning to systematically drain her bank account of her hard-earned savings.
In the first episode, seemingly mild-mannered male nurse Webster sets about poisoning and murdering Claire.
She had been concerned by his mounting debts but rather than sort out his finances, he instead tried to get her under control by systematically plying her with drugs before staging the car accident which claimed her life.
