It won’t be long until the series finale but the stars of the show are starting to get irritated by their training regime.
An inside source declared that The celebs are feeling cheesed off as the amount of time they’re having to train is becoming ridiculous. On top of their main piece and back up routine in case they’re in the bottom two and have to compete in the skate-off, they now also have to prepare for the team skate at the beginning of each show. For example Matt Lapinskas and Beth Tweddle are facing the old time dilemma of having so much to do in very little time.
Even the professional skater Dan Whiston has admitted the training is intense. He told Now magazine that he and his partner Beth ended up staying in London for the past three weeks instead of training in the north, so that they could get as much ice time as possible.
Asked about this situation, a rep for Dancing On Ice refused to comment.
Matt Lapinskas from the EastEnders is really dedicated to the competition, rehearsing even on his birthday! He just can step off the ice rink and celebrate his day! He has to get enough rehearsal time before the semi-final performance on Sunday, when he is facing Beth, Luke and Gareth. He tweeted a picture of him and two lions from the ice rink, saying Me and my mates at the ice rink! Leo and Lucas the lions x.
Besides a lot of birthday wishes from his fans and followers he also received good thoughts from his partner Brianne, who tweeted: Happy Birthday to my Best Friend @mattylapinskas. Love you so much!! Hope all you’re Birthday wishes come true. You deserve the WORLD! X” How sweet!
This week’s competition will be really exciting because each contestant will be up above on the ice, suspended by harnesses and wires, with their partners skating graciously below. This proved up to be a real challenge for some of the celebrities, with Gareth experiencing even nausea.
Judge Karen Barber said that this is one of the toughest challenges from the show, and it will be difficult to pull off for the celebrities. They’re all feeling the pressure as the semi-finals approaches, and each one trying to make it to the final and win that trophy.
