NEW comedy drama series Edge of Heaven, featuring Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison and filmed in Margate, will air on ITV tonight (Friday, February 21).
The show is written by Robert Evans, part of the writing team behind the Valleys-set sitcom Stella.
Edge of Heaven is set in a 1980s themed B&B where Camille Coduri plays Judy, the Wham! obsessed owner.
Judy runs the business with her husband, Tandeep, and two grown-up children, sofa salesman Alfie, played by The Inbetweeners’ Blake, and ex-soldier Ann-Marie.
Episode one finds Alfie in turmoil as his fiancee Carly leaves him at the altar.
Edge of Heaven will be broadcast at 9pm.
Playing Alfie has been a dream role for Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison, who readily admits his character is the closest he has ever come to playing himself. Former EastEnders star Louisa Lytton says it was refreshing to play a role that didn’t involve lots of crying. You can watch The Edge of Heaven on ITV when it premiers tonight at 9 pm.
