Tulisa Contostavlos continues to deny the claims that she’s been fired from the X Factor panel and insists that she will return on her seat when the new series will start later this year.
Numerous publications have published not long time ago, that Tulisa was axed from the show by producer Richard Holloway, due to falling ratings, and this information was presented as a given. But Tulisa claims that the talk of her leaving the show is premature because she hasn’t discussed her future on the X Factor show with the big boss, Simon Cowell.
I still don’t know yet, as like every year I don’t find out until the month before. I’ve spoken to Simon via text message, just general conversation, not about the show, she declared to some reporters backstage at her London O2 gig.
Tulisa always had a no nonsense attitude and she’s been fiery and straightforward, which led to a fallout with another former judge, Kelly Rowland but also with a success, when in 2011 the band she coached, Little Mix, won. And she knows that the public won’t have her any another way.
I love the show and I’m competitive. I always want to come back and fight. I’m a fighter. I don’t care what people think. Honestly, I hear no evil, see no evil, I’m in my own bubble. I walk outside and I don’t get anything but love, people asking for photographs and autographs, she said in an interview for the Mirror.
Even though her future on the X Factor panel is not yet clear, the NDubz star has quite a busy year ahead, away from the television screens but with a line of LA auditions and an impending movie in the pipeline, which she doesn’t want to give many details. I enjoy acting, so I’m off to LA tomorrow to do that and have meetings, auditions and agents lined up, she said. I’ve got a movie planned for the end of the year so I’ll be filming in LA then. It’s 95 per cent confirmed but all I can tell you is it’s a sequel.
