How much are X Factor bosses willing to pay for Sharon’s Osbourne return? Well, apparently not more than £2 million. A new rumour had surfaced saying that Mrs Osbourne has received an offer to take her seat on the panel back after five years.
The talk was that apparently, boss Simon Cowell can’t decide who to choose between Sharon and Mel B. But an inside source declared that Simon actually wants Sharon, and he’s willing to pay big to bring her back: Simon wants Sharon back. He wants her at the helm. What’s more, he’s willing to pay up to £2million – more than double what she was originally on.
The people behind the X Factor show would want to pair up again Sharon with her old mate Louis Walsh, and cause some mischief together. She has a great comedy relationship with Louis, who will be back, the insider told the Daily Star Sunday. The plan would be to have him next to her, then Nicole and Gary at the other end.
There isn’t a straight answer from Sharon yet, even though she was telling her fans to beg Simon to bring her back. The alleged source explained: Sharon was originally lukewarm about returning to the show because it means being so far away from her family in LA. But Simon now has his heart set on her returning and he generally gets what he asks for. He wants someone he trusts at the helm and he knows Louis isn’t up to the job but Sharon is.
Meanwhile, Sharon has become the favourite of some of her former colleagues like Nicole Scherzinger or Olly Murs, who have declared they are in “Team Sharon”. And she’s leading the bets at all sort of polls.
