Guess which Hollywood celebrity just admitted he’s a big fan of X Factor UK?!? It’s the one and only teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson. The Twilight star revealed that one of his guilty pleasures is watching TV shows, rather than going out to cool Hollywood parties. And now that he’s filming in Australia, he has plenty of time to sit in front of the TV and watch all the shows he likes. It is great filming in Australia – but they are such long days I just chill out at night, he said. I get home after filming and just watch TV online. It is episodes of Only Fools and Horses and Fawlty Towers that keep me going in the evening.
Bring back Cole and Cowell!
Moreover, the star has expressed his nostalgia about two of the previous judges of the UK. He said that X Factor was much more interesting with Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell on the panel, and they should return because the show is simply not the same. He also suggested that Simon should do both shows, X Factor USA and UK.
I would like to Cheryl back on The X Factor UK,” Robert revealed to the Mail Online this week. “It’s never going to be the same now Simon [Cowell] is not there anymore. But having Cheryl back would be good for the show. In fact Simon should do both shows,” Robert suggested. The US show is midweek and the UK at weekends – come on Simon you have enough money to charter your own plane! Talking about a true fan!
X Factor UK will be back on ITV later this year, but its current judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos haven’t confirmed their return yet.
As for Simon Cowell he is currently the head of the panel for X Factor USA and he’s touring the United Kingdom along Amanda Holden, Aleshia Dixon and David Walliams to find the next Britain’s Got Talent winner.
Cheryl Cole is preparing to start her Girls Aloud reunion tour, opening on 21st February at Newcastle Metro Arena.
Sorry Robert Pattinson, it seems your wishes won’t be granted this time!
