Robbie Williams might have just ruined all the hopes of fans and X Factor execs, of being a part of the upcoming series panel. He enjoys fatherhood so much that he and his wife Ayda already want a new baby.
The idea was to get Robbie Williams and his former Take That colleague Gary Barlow together on the panel, to get some fireworks on the show. There we’re some talks between the X Factor chiefs and Robbie, and the star admitted this idea had sparked some interest
But during Alan Carr’s Chatty Man show , Robbie said that he and his wife have started working on a brother or sister for his five month old Theodora. My little girl is wonderful. Little Teddy. We are going to do more of them because they are amazing, Robbie declared.
He also said that he would prefer to live in Los Angeles because London’s weather is too cold and it’s getting him down: It’s grim, especially in the last few weeks. My wife FaceTimed me… she was in a T-shirt on a beach in Malibu and I was in Belsize Park and I went, ‘I know where I’d rather be’.
Another thing that could keep him away from the X Factor panel is his upcoming stadium tour, during the summer. But even so…his show stops in many of the cities hosting X Factor auditions like Glasgow, Manchester, London and he could be replaced by a guest judge when unavailable. That what Gary Barlow did when he had to deal with the Take That tour and auditions, in 2011.
One of the show’s inside source said that this could work but it’s a long-shot. Hopefully they will manage to convince Robbie, because it would be very nice to see him on the ITV show.
Meanwhile, it seems the chances of Gary Barlow’s return on the panel are pretty high, as he and Simon Cowell left all of their disagreements in the past.
