Even more changes afoot for the long running ITV series of loose women as it looks as though Oprah Winfrey will be joining the panel in a one off appearance.
Well, well, well, we couldn’t quite believe our ears when we first heard the exciting news the US queen of the talk show, Oprah Winfrey was joining the Loose Women Panel. It seems ITV bosses are determined to completely revitalize the show and give ratings a huge boost as they secured the world famous lady to join the team for a live chat last Friday.
Oprah Winfrey joined Andrea McLean, Lisa Maxwell, Nadia Sawalha and Sherrie Hewson to promote her new film ‘The Butler’ and for a good old fashioned chin wag of course!
The news was confirmed on the show’s own Twitter page which read:
“Loose Women newsflash! Oprah Winfrey will be LIVE on UK TV this coming Friday at 12.30pm on Loose Women on @itv #OprahOnTheLoose.”
Of course securing Oprah will undoubtedly draw audiences from all over the globe in as she is world famous and loved and respected by millions for her no nonsense but also compassionate approach as well as her campaigning and charitable work.
The Sun reported that both producers and the other Loose women were extremely excited to have Opera on board with executive producer, Sharon Powers telling them
“She is the ultimate Loose Woman. It’s a fantastic coup for the show and we’ll be devoting virtually the entire programme to Oprah. We have so many questions to ask her.”
During the show Oprah talked about her new film the Butler which is sure to be a box office hit. It tells the story of Whitehouse butler Cecil Gaines who is played by Forest Whitaker. The film is loosely inspired by the life of Eugene Allen through whose eyes we see the noticeable events of the 20th Century unfolding.
The Butler is showing across UK cinemas now.
