Marty Adelstein has launched Tomorrow ITV Studios, a joint venture with ITV Studios U.S. Group that will operate as a scripted studio.

The Los Angeles-based Tomorrow ITV Studios will develop, pitch and produce one-hour drama and comedy projects, which ITV Studios Global Entertainment will distribute. Under the agreement, the studios will market NBC’s David Duchovnyseries Aquarius, centered on the Charles Manson murders. The studio will also operate globally with some projects in the works being co-productions.

Becky Clements, who worked with Adelstein the past four years and executive produces Last Man Standing and Cristela, will serve as president of Tomorrow ITV Studios.

“I’m thrilled that we’ll be partnering with Marty and his great team, including Becky Clements, to create innovative and exciting drama and comedy series,” said Paul Buccieri, chairman ITV Studios U.S. Group and Global Entertainment. “Marty is a truly talented individual who has an impressive track-record and a wealth of experience. I can’t wait to see the portfolio of projects that will come out of Tomorrow ITV Studios.”

“While Tomorrow ITV Studios will produce pilots, the objective is to develop and package scripts with talent in a straight-to-series model as we’ve done with Aquarius,” said Adelstein. “I feel fortunate to have partnered with ITV Studios; they are amazingly supportive and innovative and they will be fully backing Tomorrow ITV Studios.  With Aquarius they have shown themselves to be a hungry and serious player in this arena. I find this and the fact that we will be working globally very attractive and exciting.”
