Ex Eastenders, singer, actress and now presenter Martine McCutcheon appears to be making a comeback!
Martine McCutcheon appeared on the This Morning sofa last week looking healthy, comfortable and relaxed. The actress and singer has been in and out of the press for over 10 years now. Much of the attention has been over her weight which has yo yo-ed throughout the years. McCutcheon has recently spoken out about piling on the pounds which she discovered was down to suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which meant it was very difficult for her to stay active. However, ever determined the 37 year old put her mind to it and is now in great shape. It appears the weight loss has given her a new confidence and lease of life as she now trying her hand at presenting!
The former EastEnders actress was calm and collected as she presented a segment on family days out for the festive season called Martine’s Merry Must-Do’s, on Friday morning. This will be a regular slot up until Christmas and she certainly seemed to be enjoying this new career direction.
Looking sophisticated Martine arrived at the This Morning studios in a long camel coloured coat which she paired with smart jeans and white top and some black knee high boots. She dabbled in some fun accessories to give a bit more youth to the outfit with a leopard print scarf, big hoop earrings and a large ring. She topped this off (literally) with a beanie hat to keep out the cold winters chill! She kept her trademark black locks loose and curled and wore classic smokey eye make-up and festive bright red lipstick.
Martine was obviously excited about her now role as she Tweeted before she arrived on set: ‘Morning all! On my way to This Morning. We are having a crimbo chat and I will be sharing tips for Christmas family outings. Lovely stuff!’
At the studio she changed into a black dress with a pretty floral pattern and some leather sandals –a smarter look for addressing the nation!
It’s nice to see McCutcheon back on our screens and we are sure she will continue to be much loved by British viewers and a great success.
