Laila Morse has become the second celebrity to be voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! She said she was disappointed, but that she appreciated the fact that she’d now be able to get ‘a good hot bath.”  Thank you Laila for your entertaining participation in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!  We wish you well with your return to civilization. The Eastenders star seemed really happy to be leaving the jungle as she wanted to go yesterday but was awarded immunity by Joey Essex and Kian Egan.

It was between Laila and Alfonso Ribeiro who also wanted to go but was not happy when shows host Ant and Dec announced the news.

Talking in a interview after the show Laila said:

‘Disappointed really, but i could do with a nice hot bath.’

I’ve enjoyed it, it’s something that noone can explain, it’s made me a better person.’she said while fighting to hold back tears. ‘I was always a bit fiery, this calmed me down.’

Laila also did the Bushtucker trial on last nights show she at least she did a trial because she’s always said she wanted to do one!

On 19 February 2010 Morse appeared on The Weakest Link in a special EastEnders edition, alongside her co-stars and former co-stars, Adam WoodyattLaurie BrettLarry LambTodd CartyRicky GrovesJohn PartridgeCharlie G. Hawkins and John Altman. She lost in the final round to Laurie Brett.

In 2011, Morse made a return to the movies when she appeared as Aunt Queenie in the film Big Fat Gypsy Gangster, written, produced and starring Ricky Grover.[5]

In January 2012 she took part in the ITV talent show Dancing On Ice.[6] She also published her autobiography Just A Mo which detailed her troubled love life, which included men who beat and betrayed her, and her love story to a man she knew and fell in love with again some twenty-five years later.[7]

In December 2012, Morse made her pantomime debut as the fairy in a production of Jack and the Beanstalk[8]

In August 2013, Morse was declared bankrupt.[9]

Morse has recently filmed a part in The Ninth Cloud, starring Michael Madsen and Leo Gregory, the film has yet to be released.[10]

In November, 2013, Morse entered the Australian jungle in ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’. She was the second participant to be voted out of the series’ 2013 run, on December 2.
