I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here has landed!

Finally after an agonising wait we are starting to discover who will be entertaining us in the jungle this year.

We are excited to report that ITV have finally let us know who will be living it up in the Australian outback in 2013’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.

The first to touch down on Australian soil was lovable Kian Egan from world famous Irish boy-band Westlife. Kian has wowed audiences across the globe since Westlife hit the big time in 1998. Unfortunately the group disbanded last year and broke many a teenage girls heart on doing so. However cheeky chappie heart-throb Kian is back gracing our screens to battle it out under the elements and is sure to create great ratings for ITV particularly pulling in the younger viewers.

Designer David Emanuel has also entered the continent arriving in Brisbane airport last week. David is a well-known designer catering for many famous faces the most noted of all of course being Princess Diana. He designed her wedding dress for her marriage to Prince Charles, wowing the country the world over. His career has seen him not only creating bespoke pieces for the rich and famous but also costume design and set design and he is also the author of several written works and has completed a range of uniforms for Virgin and British Airways air hostesses! There has been some speculation already that Emanuel, used to the highs of and luxury of the celebrity fashion world is simply not cut from the right cloth to make it in the outback, however he has bitten back saying that if he can beat prostate cancer he can certainly survive a few weeks in the jungle. We bet you can David! The 60 year old beat the disease and it seems to have given him a new lease of life. He said: ‘Cancer’s pretty scary, but let’s give this a go.’

Unfortunately ITV has decided to drip feed us with the confirmed stars. We know that Eastenders actress Laila Morse has arrived this week and more celebrities are soon to follow to join them in the jungle for the shows expected start date which is Sunday the 17th November. It has been reported that the bankrupt TV soap opera star signed a £60,000 deal to appear on the programme. Not bad for a few weeks work!

So how do you think the 30 year old Westlife star will fare. Well not great if the way he arrived is to go by. The singer was greeted at the airport by a team of security and a chaperone and the driven off in a stretch limousine no less! He might as well make the most of his last few days before he is sent into the jungle though so why not. A life or riches and adoring fans pandering to his every need may not have set him up for a life of mud, rain, little food and a plethora of scary creatures (and no, we don’t mean the other celebrities) that will great him when the show starts.

30-year-old Westlife star Kian landed at Brisbane airport on Monday morning to be greeted by security from the show and a chaperone. He was whicked away by private limousine to a secret hotel on the Australian Gold Coast where he awaits the star of the new series.

So with Davi, Liala and Kian already secured the rumour mill is more frantic than ever as speculation continues over who will be joining them in the jungle.

The bookies are betting high on funny man Joey Essex to be part of this years I’m A Celebrity crew. It’s a rumour he has strongly denied but you never know. Other members of the TOWIE cast are also high on the list with James Arg Argent, Sam Fairs and Lucy Meck all being possibilities. Could a Kardashian even be joining them? You never know.

So as we wait with baited breath for the rest of this year’s contestants to arrive, our attention turns to the camp itself. This year ITV bosses have insisted a power shower be installed which we are sure will go down well with male viewers as the token bikini girl will undoubtedly be blasting of any mud, grime or insects that happen to be part of this year’s bush tucker trials! They are also keeping an eye on the weather as it’s pretty unpredictable in Queensland at this time of the year with bush fires and cyclones being a real possibility.  We are sure if this is the case they will get the celebrities out of there for real!
